Register to become an instructor

In order to become a NSTMOP instructor, you must complete the online NSTMOP Community Lead Instructor Self-Tutorial or attend a NSTMOP Community Lead Instructor workshop.

Online NSTMOP Community Lead Instructor Training
To complete the online NSTMOP Community Lead Instructor Self-Tutorial you must:

1. Sign up for a Friends of Penn State account at https://fps.psu.edu/, unless you already have a PSU ID.
2. Provide your Friends of Penn State userid to the NSTMOP Office by email or phone ( 814-863-8124 or nstmop@psu.edu)
3. Complete the NSTMOP Community Lead Instructor training at https://cms.psu.edu/.
4. Contact the NSTMOP Office by email or phone ( 814-863-8124 or nstmop@psu.edu) and inform them when you have completed the online training.

NSTMOP Community Lead Instructor Workshops
NSTMOP Community Lead Instructor workshops may be offered by State Master Trainers in you state. You can locate the State Master Trainer in your state here.

Access instructor materials (for current instructors)

To access the online NSTMOP Instructor Materials:

1. Sign up for a Friends of Penn State account at https://fps.psu.edu/, unless you already have a PSU ID.
